Last week, the MacSteer team had the opportunity to attend the Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo in Abilene, and it was an incredible experience connecting with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals from across West Texas and surrounding regions.
As one of the region’s most recognized agricultural trade shows, the Abilene expo brings together hardworking producers who are focused on improving efficiency, reducing input costs, and preparing for the upcoming growing season. We were proud to showcase our MacSteer N50 auto steering system, designed to deliver precision guidance without RTK unlock fees or annual subscriptions.
There’s no substitute for in-person conversations. Throughout the event, we spoke with row crop farmers, hay producers, and ranch operators looking for practical precision farming solutions that make sense economically. Many visitors were especially interested in:
±1 inch accuracy for row crop operations
±4 inch accuracy ideal for hay and dairy farms
Easy retrofit installation on existing tractors
No hidden fees, no subscription costs
Being able to demonstrate the steering wheel system live helped visitors understand how simple and intuitive our auto steer solution is.
The Texas Farm, Ranch & Wildlife Expo was more than just a trade show for us — it was an opportunity to better understand the real challenges farmers are facing today.
From our conversations, we gained valuable insight into:
Strong demand for affordable precision guidance without annual fees
Growing interest in retrofit auto steer solutions for older tractors
Farmers preparing early for spring land prep and row crop season
Increased focus on ROI and payback timelines
We also had the chance to answer detailed installation and compatibility questions, helping growers see how easily MacSteer can integrate with their current equipment.
Most importantly, the show reinforced something we strongly believe: farmers want reliable technology that works — without unnecessary complexity or hidden costs.
These direct conversations allow us to continuously refine our products, improve support, and better serve the agricultural community across Texas and the Midwest.
