Last Wednesday, the MacSteer team visited Kelly Sod Farm in Oklahoma to support a long-term customer and evaluate our tractor auto steering system under real working conditions. As a large-scale operation, Kelly Sod Farm has been running multiple John Deere auto steer systems for years across their fleet.
About a year ago, they decided to test the MacSteer N50 auto steering system on one tractor. The goal was simple: compare usability, accuracy, and long-term value in real field applications such as spraying and field preparation.
Running both systems side by side, the difference became clear. The MacSteer system delivered more intuitive operation and higher field accuracy, helping reduce overlap, improve line consistency, and lower input waste—key benefits in modern precision agriculture and GPS guidance systems for tractors.
Based on this performance, the farm expanded quickly, adding three more MacSteer units. But what truly stood out wasn’t just performance—it was service.

In agriculture, timing is everything. When equipment stops, work stops. During the visit, the MacSteer team provided on-site support, system checks, and operator guidance, ensuring the system was fully optimized for upcoming field work.
This is where MacSteer stands apart. We combine high-accuracy auto steer technology with real, responsive field support—because farmers don’t just need equipment, they need reliability.
If you're considering upgrading your auto steer system or exploring precision farming solutions, it’s worth thinking beyond specs.
Performance gets you started.
Service keeps you running.
